Summer 2011 Plans

So I finally get around to doing my first journal on my now 'not-so-new' DA account! I do apologise for the pretty hefty spam earlier but I was pretty backlogged with work.
I've been quite busy at the start of the year with University assignments, cosplay and photoshoots. However all that's now over and done with (accept the cosplay and photoshoot parts of course) and I now have a summer of holidays, sewing and just a bit of work.
My main aim over the summer is to really power through the two cosplays I have planned for October. The first is Ciel Phantomhive of Kuroshitsuji fame in the outfit featured in the volume 6 cover. I've already dived straight into this with most of it either being bought or on it's way to me. The second costume is slightly more special and they'll be more on that when I have some designs finalised.
My real ambition this summer is to get some cosplay 'showcases' filmed. I already have a youtube account which can be found over here www.youtube.com/user/NeocoticZ and the last thing I did of notoriety was a live action Vocaloid music video to Disturbia. I really want to kick it up a notch with that channel this year so hopefully you'll be able to expect some exciting stuff.
For those asking about my art that's a bit of a rocky subject at the moment. I've really taken a back seat with it and don't do any of the 'furry' artwork I used to do. If you want to see my archived art from early 2009 to 2010 all that can be found here www.furaffinity.net/user/ladyn…. If you couldn't tell I haven't updated this account in quite a while and I really have no intention of pursuing the art style any more. That's not to say I won't be doing any art at all as I do have some pieces I want to upload but they'll be much more in keeping with the art I used to upload way back in 2005. Just you know, nowhere near as terrible!
So hopefully I'll keep this page updated and you guys entertained. I can't thank you all enough for the favourites and watchers I've already received and I absolutely adore reading all your comments even if I don't get a chance to reply to you all!
